How to Purchase

First download the software (approx. 2mb)

Once installed, you will be able to test the software to make sure it meets your requirements by creating a test user which will connect to HMRCs testing site.
We advise reading the step by step help guide, (available from within the software from the Help - Contents menu), which will provide you with an understanding of how the software operates.

If you are satisfied that the product is suitable for you, then if you have not done so already, you will need to register with HMRC for MTD VAT.
Once you have completed registration it may take a few days for HMRC to set you up for use with MTD for VAT.

Should you wish to purchase a license, then we will need confirmation that you accept the terms of use/user agreement, (available from within the software from the Help - About menu), and the following details:

These details must be supplied exactly as they are entered/typed in to the software in the “Your Details” section.

  • Company Name
  • Company Number
  • Company VRN Number (VAT Reg. No.)
  • Primary users first name and surname
  • Contact address and telephone number

On receipt of your license key request we will create a key and send this to you by email. We will then invoice you or your company for the license fee.

Please note that the license fee is an annual fee, currently £45.00 per year excluding VAT.

Our easy to use Making Tax Digital VAT software makes it simple to submit your VAT returns electronically to HMRC as well as providing a facility to track and manage VAT.
Our HMRC-recognised “bridging” solution will enable you to upload your VAT return using figures from an existing excel spreadsheet or in the format of either plain text, XML or comma separated data.
The solution has been designed to minimise change from your current processes and help you to remove the need for a costly financial system upgrade.

If you are registered for VAT and your taxable turnover is above the VAT registration threshold, (currently £85,000), you must keep digital business records and send your VAT returns to HMRC using MTD-compatible software.
For the vast majority of businesses this applies to accounting periods starting on or after 1st April 2019.

Bridging Software

‘Bridging software’ is HMRC’s description of the digital tool that can take information from other applications, for example, a spreadsheet or an in-house record keeping system, and lets the user send the required information digitally to HMRC in the correct format.

e.g., A spreadsheet or other application can be used to calculate or summarise VAT transactions to arrive at the return information you need to send to HMRC.
If you use spreadsheets to keep business records, you’ll need MTD-compatible Bridging software so that you can send HMRC your VAT returns and receive information back from HMRC.
